TOURS

The Tourist Office prepared a special program for for individual delegates and accompanying persons to discover the capital city of the province Northern Brabant. Please note you have to register separately for these tours. Below you will find a short description. The Tourist Office reserves the right to cancel a tour in case less than 15 people book the tour. All tours depart from the congress venue Theater aan de Parade.

Jheronimus Bosch was born in 's-Hertogenbosch and lived and worked there until he died. The city honours the past of the famous painter. In this program you can experience everything about Jheronimus Bosch. A guided tour takes you around the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center. In this stylish complex -

comprising a former church and its annexes - the mental and artistic legacy of the religious artist is brought into the limelight in various ways. The four gallery rooms in the tower show highquality

photographic reproductions of the complete works of Jheronimus Bosch. The top floor of the tower provides a spectacular view of Jheronimus Bosch's town.

Before or after this visit, you are taken on a boat trip on the centuries old town river, Binnendieze. Seated in a characteristical open boat you sail through 's-Hertogenbosch alternating between being out in the open and amidst town buildings.

Experience the historical past of this beautiful walled town! Today's fortifications and towers of the fortress town of 's-Hertogenbosch together with its Citadel stem from the 16th and 17th century and are still almost completely intact! You will have a guided bicycle-tour around these fortifications and through the 'Bossche Broek', a really unique nature reserve right next to the city centre. After this you'll have a guided tour through the Noordbrabants Museum located in the historical city centre. This museum shows the art, culture and history of Northern Brabant.

Meet the city with this cultural program! You will have a boat trip through the historical city centre. Sometimes you see the city above you, sometimes you are one with the darkness, the water and the stillness under the city. After the boat trip you'll continue on feet: an English-speaking guide tells you all about the highlights of the city and you will visit the St. John's Cathedral. Of course you discover the taste of a Bossche Bol in a typical Bosschian café.

The Tourist Office will confirm your booking by e-mail including bank details for the payment. Payment should be made before September 23. All reservations are in accordance with the general terms and conditions of the Tourist Offices Netherlands. Upon request you will be send a copy of these conditions.
